Collage.com is a technology company. Our main advantage is providing the best software for designing and purchasing photo products, which can be a complex and challenging process. The key to maintaining this advantage is investing in cutting-edge technology and engineering practices throughout the company, starting at the top.
Our founders have Ph. Ds in economics and computer science, and prior experience developing software at Google and Microsoft. Everyone in engineering management is an experienced developer who knows how to build great software. Members of the development team are surrounded by peers who are knowledgeable, helpful, and have a passion for constant improvement. We continually challenge ourselves to make Collage.com better for customers, increase our efficiency, and realize our full potential as engineers.
All of our job interviews are over the phone or Skype/Google Hangouts, so you won’t need to travel or block off large amounts of time for multiple interviews in one day. We’re happy to schedule interviews outside of regular business hours, too. Typically, our interviews begin with the people you’d be working with directly, including your manager. Applicants advancing to the final round of interviews also talk with one or both of our company’s founders. For development jobs, we don’t ask any brain teaser questions, but do provide a short take-home coding assignment that is directly relevant to the job, so we can measure your skills outside of our standard interviews.
